For some reason, Blogger has cancelled out all my captions and zeroed me out on this post. Were they not witty enough I ask you?! Anyways, I've reordered the photos yet again and will make another pass at my hilarity :)
We went to Tahoe a couple weeks ago while Dan took a week off work, it was divine! The kids slept on both drives while I sat in the backseat on Pacifier Management. The weather cooperated eventually, after a kind of neat thunderstorm, and we had a relaxing vacay. Jim and Mary joined for the latter half, too, so there were extra hands on board!

| The three kiddos "playing together". Nate loves hanging with his bro and sis actually. Yesterday he called Sylvie a sweetheart!! |
| However, the big brother in Nate is coming out. Luke, you better watch out buddy! |
| Nate is perfecting his pacifier skills, very key. |
| We went to Tahoe City and tried to evade the rain. Here's mom and her kids! |
| Nate has great frisbee form, impressed as I am unable to throw a frisbee myself |
| On the last day we hit the beach and Luke tested the waters. Yep, pretty cold. |
| Mary enjoying her nephew's company |
| Jim taking a turn with Luke. Where was Sylvie you ask? Strapped to me the whole time :) |
| Daddy and Nate making a run for it into the Tahoe mountains. They tubed around for a good 45 min and had a blast! |
| Hot tea, little boy, dappled sunlight |
| Nate got a new 300 piece puzzle while up in Tahoe and did it twice. Here Dad and Sylvie assist |
| Grandpa sneaking in some puzzle time |
| The minivan did well on its inaugural Tahoe trip, and the drivers seat doubled as a changing table. Ingenuity! |

Looks like it was a welcome trip all around!
This makes my heart smile. Tahoe is such a magical place especially when you get a chance to relax into it. Glad it was a good one! - Annie
P.S. That grin from Nate is a little scary as Dan's younger sister...if his mischievousness is hereditary...they are in trouble. :)
