Boo to Yoo

We love Halloween in this house. There's nothing better than dressing up and eating candy! Nate was a tiger this year, though of course wanted to be Batman after we had already secured a costume. Not cool buddy.

Like last year, we had 4 days of celebration: Nate's school, my work, playgroup and actual trick or treating.

Kellen the Lion, Nate the Tiger and Thomas the Shark. Scary huh?
Plus Mikayla the Kangaroo, Thomas in full shark gear and Anderson the policeman (though in this crowd we were joking he should be the zookeeper)

One of my favorite pics of playgroup, the kids were all playing together running down Haley's side yard with abandon.

Who is that 'gentleman' with nate you ask? Yep, it's Dan!

A house on Eucalypus hired a production company to recreate Alice in Wonderland. There were life size mushrooms...

A throne on which the Queen of Hearts would later pose...

And a real life (actor playing a) caterpillar! It was crazy. But then again, I didn't see them handing out any candy. Hmmm ;)

I was a kitty cat, though you cant' see my tail here.

At his new school, there was a Halloween parade and a full on party.

Kellen and Nate both hit up the pony rides.

Kellen in mid fall, Nate in mid hang.

My favorite costume, if you've seen Avatar.

Nate's new classroom at Edison. Kiera's a witch, Magnus is a fireman, and he's by Teacher Chris the football player.
Check out Nate and Kellen on Laurel street during their Goblin Walk. They were egging on each other's roars, this cracks us up. "Be Tiger" says Nate!

Really cute! Dan tried to explain to my dad what a redneck was...maybe he'll have to sport it in person.
