Belated Happy 2011

This year New York New Year's was spent at our house! We made full use of the man cave before demolition. The whole party revolved around the kitchen, and it worked well. Which means yay for my kitchen, right? I did the roasted veggies thing, which I've now made every week for 8 weeks, with rotating veggies. Throw whatever chopped veggies you want into a dutch oven, toss with olive oil and sea salt and bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes. I've been doing sweet potato, mushroom, green onion, zucchini, eggplant, tomato and yellow pepper. Also works with red onion, squash... anything! Yum + Healthy.

Chocolate pretzels from Grammy were a huge hit with the under 3 set. Mandatory hand washing party followed.
The adult party spent little time in the family room.

Ready for a new year! Bring it.

Kid party on the yellow shag. Nate's wondering what Kellen is up to down there. Kellen is wondering why Nate doesn't help him up. Superheroes unite, right?

Max was an awesome older playmate, Kellen and Nate followed his lead. Maybe he's the Green Hornet or Green Lantern then? (to keep with this super hero thing)

Just point a camera at Nate and "blammo!" you've got a super-hero smile! :)
Kerren's smile rocks, too! ;)
