Hound Dog

Nate and I joined his BFF Kellen (and Shannon and baby Adleigh!) on a visit to Coyote Point Museum. There are animals, smoke machines, all manner of Exploratorium-like exhibit in this great place. But the two boys literally wanted to spend all their time at this one machine, pictured below. They would occasionally switch spots, but they were like Lucy and Ethel in the chocolate factory. Only they were moving balls through a conveyor belt rather than producing chocolates.

The next weekend Dan went to Germany and we were lucky enough to get reinforcements in the guise of Grammy! Here's my favorite shot.

Nate has quite the expressive face, as you've probably gleaned from this blog. And lately his 'thing' is to snarl. I call it the Elvis, and let's just say Grammy had fun with that (and her invisible guitar!). Here are some shots of the snarl.

It's hard to snarl when you're smiling
It's hard to snarl on demand. Note the different socks and shoes.

The best photo of the snarl. This is while he's lying on the ground under a light trying to soak up as much juice for his glow-in-the-dark jammies as possible.
New wheels: minivan!!! Don't hate, it's awesome. Nate is equally pleased.

After his shower Nate wanted to brush Mommy's hair. He's a regular Paul Mitchell that one! (not)
