A few weekends ago we were lucky enough to have a visit from my dear friend Lauren and her wonderful family: hubby Ben and son... Nate! We had an afternoon in San Carlos, followed by a Sunday brunch over the weekend at their 'vacation home' in Marin.

The two Nates became fast friends, especially over Buzz and Woody! Nate D wanted to bring Buzz up to Marin because he knew how much the other Nate liked it! Good sharing buddy.

No, not a good old fashioned chicken fight. A good old fashioned shoulder ride on Lauren and Ben's shoulders!

How bucolic is this?! It was like a movie set. we had Gluten Free pancakes, eggs, Swedish pancakes, hearty bread and OJ. Ahhh
