Fudge Factor

After Denver, we drove up to Estes Park which is about 45 minutes North of Boulder. Estes is up in the mountains, the town at the mouth of Rocky Mountain National Park. Their downtown has an abundance of knick-knack stores, T-shirteries and candy stores. I particularly enjoyed the latter, as did my boys...

We truly enjoyed Estes- for the family-friendly activities and the cost-conscious but nice accommodation options. I'd highly recommend you check it out. When we were planning our CO trip, we were thinking Vail or Bear Creek or something like that. But everyone we talked to mentioned Estes, so why not, right?!  And the RMNP part of it would make for some stunning views.... to be continued.

Love the way Nate shoves the piece of fudge in his mouth and manages, w/o losing any being chewed,to ask for more! Dad's explanation only quiets Nate for a second to lean back, SWALLOW what's left, and repeat his request for further fudge! ;)
