Movin on Up

We did it, we moved! Aaron's Moving Company showed up at 9:36am last Saturday morning, and 3 big Russian dudes spent the next 5.25 hours moving all of our possessions. Nate was at Nonna and Grandpa's house for the weekend, otherwise we really couldn't have gotten any of it done. We left him to play with this cousins after a gorgeous Thanksgiving spread, and they delivered him back to us on Sunday afternoon.

Thanksgiving was oh so fun with the Dempseys! Check out Dan roughhousing with the nephews and Nate. Thomas and James loved playing with NBD. It was pretty awesome to watch them all together. At one point they were all screaming with joy, crawling after each other all over the house.



















This morning while waiting for the Comcast guy to connect us to the world, Nate played in some boxes. We had a good time, so pay no mind to the poker face he's showing here.
























We have so many things left to take care of, not to mention the ongoing kitchen project. Currently our living room is subbing in for dining room, kitchen and garage. We baked a chicken in the grill today! Not bad I must say. The kitchen will be done mid Jan. After that, it's all up for grabs. Maybe we'll fix the rusty water issue, maybe we'll insulate some of the walls, perhaps alleviate the mold smell. Who knows, we may even hatchet down the ivy!
