You just put one foot in front of the other...

I don't want to get anyone too excited, Nate's not walking yet. But Grandpa Dempsey is sure trying to help him along. These are his first assisted steps, where he clearly understands the whole concept. Soon enough, he'll be racing around our little apartment. The books say to take him to a park to let him run free (like a dog?). I love how he finds solace in Nonna's arms at the end of this.





Dan took him to a park last night where he got himself nice and tired on the swings- and went down to bed easy as pie. He hasn't been going down as easily these days, he just wants to hang out downstairs with his very cool, hip parents.

Speaking of hip parents, Grammy and Grandpa come in 2 days! They're foaming at the mouth to see the little guy. Grandpa hasn't seen Nate since Thanksgiving. Is that right? :(
