Natural high

The other weekend we went 'camping'. I have to say this is my new favorite way to do camping. Meet up with friends in the woods, go on a nice sized hike through the redwoods, cook up a yummy dinner on the campstove, eat a ton of s'mores.... and then pack up and leave. No setting up a tent, no blowing up an air mattress, no trekking to the latrine in the dark with a headlamp to get ready for bed and then not being able to find your way back. The key to this plan is that your friends are going to camp in a location near your house.

Nate found a stick to play with and enjoyed watching his Dad play football with some random little 5 year old boy. Check out the suckers in the background setting up a tent ;)
