Post birthday hangover

As is always the case, big parties take a while to come down from. All the wine, the presents, and of course Costco corn chips. Here I am with my Mike's Hard Lemonade trying to make a dent after the party. It's a hard job, but someone's got to do it.




Nate loved his birthday, no doubt. He got to hang out with both grandmas! Here he is with Grammy from Kansas with his flowing locks (apparently from behind he looks like a girl?!).



Those locks turn into a comb over in this picture. Nonna is clearly getting a kick out of Nate. And Nate's clearly wanting more of that food he just had for the first time: ICE CREAM



He also got to hang out with his buds. Thomas was so kind as to give him some of his string cheese for his bday. He even offered me some of his bagel! Very generous kiddo.



Thing 2 kind of got insane towards the latter part of the birthday day. Who wouldn't want to wear this awesome bday crown!? A tired kid, that's who. My cat-like reflexes captured this moment: the end of a great birthday.
