Home at last

Nate and I flew back from Kansas City on Tuesday. Let's just say it wasn't the perfect flight. But now Nate can say that he spent a few hours at LAX and got to know a few flight attendants, pilots and FAA operations people. Pretty exciting ;)
We were both so excited to see Dan! He was well rested and excited to see us as well. However, Nate's sleep was all off upon returning, which sucks. Last night was better though, so fingers crossed.

My mom just sent me this picture of Nate sitting on Anita Berkowitz's lap: she is 101 years old. Nate really charmed her. She also named her son Nathaniel, but she told me in a very loud aside that she hates the name Nate and I should never call him Nate- only Nathaniel. So heretofore, Nate will be Nathaniel around Anita.

We miss Grammy and Grandpa so, but it's good to be home. We're going to check out Happy Campers today to see if mom (me) can deal with the separation anxiety.
